Zinc and lead mine north of Mt Isa

A zinc and lead Mine north of Mt Isa has used DELTA water treatment technology to tackle scale in crib rooms, kitchens, an ice machine and hot water system. Scale build-up in the ice machine required the mine to fly in a maintenance man from Townsville once a month.

After the installation of the DELTA technology, scale no longer formed. A side benefit of the DELTAtreatment was that the cloudy ice became clear.

Premature failure of hotwater systems and blockages of pipes and fittings has been eliminated and as a result, has reduced maintenance costs and time.
