DELTAwater conditioner slashes maintenance costs in motel industry

After trying to manage calcium scale build-up caused by poor quality bore water for many years, one busy accommodation resort on the border of NSW and the ACT has finally found a solution.

Maintenance Supervisor at Ibis Styles Eaglehawk Luciano Berluti installed a customised DELTAwater solutions water treatment conditioner and within four days noticed a distinct improvement.

What’s even better is his maintenance team at the modern 151-room hotel have an extra 20 hours a week to spend on other tasks now that the DELTA is taking the hard work out of their maintenance schedule.

“It’s working like a dream. We used to have to regularly clean out filters but now we don’t need to. We also had a constant leak from a hot water system outlet valve and that has stopped too. We are extremely happy with our DELTAwater conditioner,” Luciano said.

The resort is connected to a treated bore water supply from a Canberra bore hole, and despite a new water treatment plant supplying drinking quality water, this failed to solve their calcium-scale problems.

“We’d be continually dealing with our dishwashers failing, kettles burning out and toilets blocking up with the calcium scale. Our housekeeping ladies were finding it difficult to clean

shower screens and any other glass or metal surface, and it was a real challenge to clean off the streaks and residue build-up.

“Within four days of installing our DELTAwater conditioner I had housekeeping staff coming to me to say thank you, and the kitchen staff are happy too.”
