DELTAwater solutions has been in business since 1993 (33 years!) and through DELTAwater Labs we have collected an incredible record of water samples and customer information from all around Australia and overseas.
In more recent years our water labs database has become automated but we still hold all our original paper records.
We’ve just had another one of those moments that has made us appreciate some of the cornerstones of our success:
* Good record keeping
* Customer care
* Patience and persistence
This week we had a call from a customer whose water we tested in 2014. The phone connection was really poor so we had trouble getting the correct email address from him and it bounced back.
We went to our paper files and it took only 5 minutes to find him – he didn’t have an email address back then, but we had his property address, and we put 2+2 together and were able to email him to the correct address.
We were also able to reacquaint ourselves with his water test results, his property layout and water sources and understand exactly what he needs for water treatment!
