DELTAwater customised, bore water treatment systems are becoming a common sight across the Australian landscape.
Large-scale irrigators, abattoirs, wineries, mines, broadacre cropping, thoroughbred horse studs and fruit and vegetable farms are among the businesses using DELTAwater solutions products to stop problems such as leaf burn, calcium scale build-up and salinity build-up in soils.
Alex and Dianne Panov founded DELTAwater solutions 32 years ago and are leading specialists in their field.
Through extensive research and development and in-field experience, the family-owned company designs and manufactures customised and innovative ways to treat specific water issues.
DELTAwater solutions products are power, maintenance and chemical free and treat unlimited volumes of water.
Understanding people’s water problems before recommending a solution is the key to the long-term success of DELTAwater, says agent John Powderly from Powderly’s Pumping & Irrigation Services in Young, NSW. John has been an agent for 31 years.
“What really sets them apart is the fact they always test the water before they recommend one of their conditioners. If you don’t follow this path you could end up with any quality of water conditioner and it’s not going to work.”
Queensland lime and passionfruit grower Phil Oliver says he would have gone out of business 15 years ago due to poor quality bore water if it hadn’t been for DELTAwater solutions.
“People always ask why I’ve got so many limes, and I tell them we wouldn’t be here without the DELTAwater conditioner. From when we first installed it, we’ve consistently had four times the amount of produce,” Phil says.
In the WA Swan Valley Stephen Kraljevich installed a DELTAwater conditioner to fix problems caused by high sodium and chloride levels in his bore water at Twin Hill Wines. He has since installed more units.
The DELTA-treatment has increased grape yields with one area experiencing a jump from 600 to 900 cases. The water treatment system has also stopped leaf burn, resulted in improved penetration of water into the soil and reduced fertiliser use.
South-west Queensland trading cattle property owner Andrew Woodrow says his investment in a DELTAwater unit paid for itself within 10 months by solving cattle health problems caused by high chloride and sodium levels in his bore water.
Andrew says it took just four days to notice a difference in his cattle. The water treatment system also solved a scouring problem that had arisen after they installed the bore.
