DELTA secret to success
Long-time Bundaberg fruit and vegetable grower Godfrey Priebe has a few secrets to success. Many of these he would prefer to keep to himself, but one secret he will reluctantly share is his use of a DELTA Magnetic Water Conditioner.
Reliant on water from the Branyan Creek for growing tomatoes, capsicums, zucchini and seeded watermelons for markets in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, tip burn and wilting were common problems. It was about 10 years ago, while experiencing a 100% failure rate with his capsicums, that Mr Priebe started looking for a solution.
When Alex Panov from DELTAwater solutions tested his water, results showed it was unsuitable even for livestock. Initially baulking at the cost, the company’s money-back guarantee persuaded him to try out a DELTA Magnetic Water Conditioner.
“When Alex called me after six months to see if the unit was working, I was more than happy to pay the money for the results I was getting,” Mr Priebe said. “In my circumstances the DELTA works very well. I’m still using the same unit and for the past eight to 10 years we have had consistently good results.”
Mr Priebe said he didn’t fully understand how a DELTA Magnetic Water Conditioner worked but the important thing was that he knew it worked. “It certainly has made a difference to our crops,” he said.
