DELTA’s evolution
Alex and Dianne Panov founded DELTAwater solutions in 1991. It started as a small business that quickly grew into something much more significant. In 2004 the company moved into larger factory premises to cater for the increasing demand for its product.
Alex has an agricultural degree and a rural and farming-based background. He has accumulated a vast well of knowledge and experiences in the water-product industry and has identified the potential of magnetic water technology across a broad domestic and industrial market.
He used what the scientific world had known about since the late 1800s to improve the design of a magnetic water conditioner. For three years he worked in his spare time to build and test his first magnetic water conditioners.
Dianne has a lifetime of rural knowledge and experience and an understanding of complexities surrounding the need for good-quality water for stock and irrigation.
DELTA designs, manufacturers and distributes a range of products. All have evolved to meet varying water-supply applications worldwide. Alex and Dianne have continued to grow the business by exploring new markets and adapting to new technology through extensive research and trials.
The key success of the business is the effort its people put into face-to-face interaction with all customers – large and small. Alex regularly hits the road to meet his customers and has the efficient back-up of Dianne and office staff to follow-up on requests for further information or samples. Alex maintains a hands-on involvement in manufacturing, distribution and meeting customers while Dianne directs marketing strategies and oversees overall company management.
The business employs several marketing staff, has a busy workforce in its manufacturing department and a team of administrative and finance people. The company works with a range of professional organisations to promote and deliver its product across Australia and around the world.
